Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, we have been running some of our autistic-led groups that would have taken place at the Lovell Autism Hub online. Now, we are running a few regular groups via Zoom and Discord, as well as a couple in-person at the Lovell Park Hub.

Console Gaming Group

A monthly in-person gaming group held at the Lovell Park Hub, playing games on the Nintendo Switch.

Co-Design Group

A monthly online group where resources made by Leeds Autism AIM and other services for autistic adults are fed back on.

Discord: Peer Support Hub

An online space on the Discord app where autistic adults can meet each other, share experiences and chat.

Mental Health Peer Support Group

Twice-monthly mental health-focused peer support groups; one in person and the other online. These are led by the Mental Health Equity Project and Leeds Mind.

Peer Support Group

A monthly online group, hosted on Zoom, where autistic adults can share experiences and help to reduce isolation.

Women-Aligned Group

A monthly online group run by and for autistic women and femme-aligned non-binary people.

Carers Group from Carers Leeds

Carers Leeds are running their monthly group for parents, carers and partners of autistic and neurodivergent adults in Leeds (aged 16+) in person. It is on the third Thursday of each month from 1pm-2:30pm at Carers Leeds’ office – 6-8 The Headrow, Leeds LS1 6PT.

How to join the groups

We have a mailing list where we will send on details for how to join each group. If you are interested in joining any group we run and have not made a referral to Leeds Autism AIM before, please click on the button below to make a referral.

In the referral form, we will ask which groups you would like to join. Then, we will add you to our Groups Mailing List where you get details of how to join the groups you want to join.

Please note that to join any of the groups run by Leeds Autism AIM, you must be an autistic adult (aged 18+) and live in the Leeds City Council area.
