Our Peer Support Group is run by and for autistic adults in Leeds. In the group, autistic adults can share experiences with other autistic adults in a supportive environment.

Peer support is when people use their own experiences to help each other, bringing together people with shared experiences.

At the group, we start with introductions for anyone who is coming for the first time or has not been in a while. Then, we open it up to anyone who would like to ask the group a question or reach out if they need to share.

Who is the group for?

The group is for autistic adults aged 18 and over who live in the Leeds area. You can join if you have an official autism diagnosis, are self-diagnosed or are currently going through the diagnostic process.

When and where does the group meet?

The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month on Zoom. It runs from 6pm to 7pm.

How to join the group

We have a mailing list where we will send on details for how to join each group. If you are interested in joining any group we run, please make a referral to Leeds Autism AIM first at https://tinyurl.com/leedsautismaimreferral.

We have put together a booklet for anyone new to our autistic-led groups. It says what they all do, what to expect, who facilitates them and has a few ground rules. To download a copy, please click here:
