Post-diagnostic consultancy session

The Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS) team have a consultancy service for some people who have received a diagnosis and have significant additional problems e.g. mental health, social circumstances. These involve the person accessing the service attending with a professional they are working with.

Post-diagnostic support sessions from Leeds Autism AIM

Leeds Autism AIM have a series of fortnightly post-diagnostic support sessions, funded by the Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). They are for anyone who has been diagnosed as autistic in the last 12 months prior to their appointment by the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS).

Getting a Care Act assessment

The Care Act is a piece of law that says if you need extra support, you’re entitled to it. You can get an assessment of your needs through Leeds’ Adult Social Care team.
