Due to the AutistiCon 2024 event taking place on the same day, we at Leeds Autism AIM have decided to close our Drop-In Autism Hub session, scheduled for Tuesday 11th June from 4pm-7pm. Many of our staff team will be at the event instead, which runs from 9:30am-4:30pm.
The reason for this is that most of our staff team are autistic. As autistic people, many of us experience burnout and doing a Hub session right after a big event could be quite overloading. The same could apply if you are a client and would like to go to both AutistiCon and the Hub on the same day.
We will be one of 30 different services which will have an information stall at AutistiCon. There will also be guest speakers and some activities, which will be confirmed in the next week or so. It takes place at the Leeds Playhouse, opposite Leeds Bus Station. More information can be found on the AutistiCon website.
Drop-In on 25th going ahead
Our scheduled Drop-In Hub session on Tuesday 25th June from 4pm-7pm will go ahead as planned. The same applies for all our scheduled booked appointment-only Hub sessions.
