This December, we will be running two drop-in Autism Hub sessions on consecutive Tuesdays. The drop-ins will be on Tuesday 13th and Tuesday 20th December.

At the drop-ins, we will provide the usual information, signposting to services you might find useful and advocacy. As well as that, we will have Chapeltown Citizens Advice in, available for one-to-one appointments where they can give information and advice on topics like benefits and money. To see them, please book with us first via email.

A warm space with refreshments

A platter of sandwiches on a black plastic tray. There is a mini chalkboard behind it saying what is on the menu.
A picture with two plates of cakes. One has chocolate cupcakes with cream inside. The other is further back and has mini sponge cakes with cream and a strawberry on top.

The drop-ins will be a warm space, where we will provide:

  • Free hot drinks, including tea and coffee – vegan and lactose intolerant-friendly milks will be available
  • Free sandwiches and hot food from our friends at Café Leep
  • Spaces to charge up any portable devices like smartphones and tablets
  • A welcoming, accessible environment where you can spend some quiet time or meet with other autistic adults

Our staff will be around to answer any questions you have, plus we will have leaflets on services and support that might be useful.

Who are the drop-ins for?

Our drop-in Hub sessions are for autistic adults (aged 18 and over) who live in the Leeds City Council area and get little or no funded support. If you don’t have a diagnosis but are either self-diagnosed and/or currently waiting for an autism diagnosis, you are welcome to attend.

If you are coming for the first time and have not accessed any part of our service before, please make a referral to Leeds Autism AIM online at https://tinyurl.com/leedsautismaimreferral.

Should you want to come, but you have already referred to us online before, you don’t need to make a referral to attend.

When are the drop-ins?

Both sessions are from 4pm to 7pm. They are at the Lovell Park Hub, which is at this address:

Lovell Park Hub
Wintoun Street
Leeds
LS7 1DA

A visual guide that shows you what all the rooms look like can be found here: Hub Visual Guide. Information on getting to the Hub can be found on our Locations page.
