The Yorkshire Autism AIM team have put together a survey. It is part of their work on addressing the sensory needs of autistic adults on inpatient wards in Leeds.
The survey asks eight questions, which cover issues including:
- Different sensory issues like light, sound, smell and touch
- Suggestions to make inpatient wards more accessible
- Whether or not wards had met sensory needs
It is for autistic adults (aged 18 and over) in Leeds who are or have been on inpatient wards. There is no deadline.
Responses to this survey will be used to make an animated video to help improve sensory environments on inpatient wards. It will also help to raise awareness on the sensory needs of autistic people on inpatient wards.
