Next week’s Lovell Autism Hub session has a guest speaker, a regular monthly group and all of the usual information. Here is what we have in store for you at our drop-in:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 20th February – 3:30-7pm
First up, the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS) team have their consultation session from 3pm to 6pm. In it, LADS can help you to understand what an autism diagnosis means. They can also give information on what to do after being diagnosed as autistic.
The Green Doctor, a service in Leeds that helps people to work out how to stay warm during winter and get value for money from their energy bills, are in from 4pm to 6pm. They will do a talk and be around to answer any questions you may have afterwards.
Our Women’s Group is back after being postponed last month. It’s on from 5:30-6:30pm and will be discussing the topic of diagnosis. The group is open to autistic women throughout Leeds.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in for the entire session. He can give you information about hard subjects like personal finance and benefits such as ESA and PIP.
Our staff will be in to give information, provide signposting services and offer limited advocacy support.
