At our weekly drop-in session, we have a guest speaker making an appearance, alongside some of our regular activities. Here are more details about what we have in store for the Lovell Autism Hub:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 22nd August – 3:30pm-7pm
First up at the Lovell Autism Hub this week, we have a talk by Ronnie Miley from Voluntary Action Leeds about their microvolunteering scheme. The talk is on from 4pm, with Ronnie sticking around until 5:30pm to answer any questions you might have.
Our informal cooking session is on from 4pm. If you want to join in with us, all you need to do is ask! Whatever is being cooked will then be served up and sold if you fancy something to eat.
Throughout the session, we are able to help you produce personalised resources such as autism alert cards and hospital passports. Just ask around for Luke and he’ll help you out.
As always, our staff and volunteers can give you advocacy support. They can also provide information and, when needed, signpost you to any services that you may feel are relevant.
