This coming week at our two hub sessions, we have quite a few groups running, as well as all the usual advocacy support, information and signposting. Here’s what is happening at Lovell:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 18th July – 3:30pm-7pm
First up at Lovell, Aspiedent will be holding their fortnightly employability session. Running from 4pm to 6pm, the session is for autistic adults in Leeds who want advice on finding the right job.
Next, our monthly Women’s Group is back from 5pm to 6:30pm. This time, they will be talking about the topics of time management and priorities. The group is open to autistic women living in the Leeds area.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in from 3:30pm to 7pm. He can advise on issues such as benefits, personal finance and housing.
As always, our staff and volunteers are in throughout the session. They can offer advocacy support, information, signposting and peer support.
Friday Autism Hub – Friday 21st July – 4pm-7pm
At our quieter fortnightly session for booked appointments, here is what’s going on:
- Employment advice from 4pm to 7pm
- Advocacy support and information/signposting from 4pm to 7pm
- Citizens Advice Bureau support from 4pm to 7pm
- Our monthly support group for LGBTQIA* autistic adults from 5:30pm to 7pm
If you would like one-to-one advocacy support, information and signposting or to receive employment advice, you need to book an appointment with us. You can do so by contacting us.
To attend the LGBTQIA* support group, all you need to do is come along!
