For the last Lovell Autism Hub session of May, we have something very interesting lined up, alongside all the usual services we offer. Here’s what you can expect to see when visiting our weekly drop-in service:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 30th May – 3:30pm-7pm
First up, we have a guest speaker! Dr Ruth Williams, an autism-specific counsellor from the Horsforth Centre, will be giving a talk about how to access counselling services. Her talk will be followed by a question and answer session.
Ruth’s talk will be on at 3:30pm. She will be around for any questions you may have until 5pm.
Next up, Aspiedent’s latest social skills training session is on. It runs from 4pm to 6pm, but is fully-booked. To find out more about what Aspiedent can offer, visit their website.
Our staff and volunteers will be there throughout the session to offer advocacy support, provide information and signposting and offer peer support.
Please note that Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau won’t be in that day, as it’s the day after a Bank Holiday. He will, however, be there next week.
