At next week’s Hub sessions, we have plenty going on for anyone who needs advice, support, information or signposting. Here’s what’s coming up at our Tuesday and Friday sessions:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 23rd May – 3:30pm-7pm
First up at the Lovell Autism Hub this week, we have Aspiedent’s fortnightly employability drop-in. It’s on from 4pm to 6pm and is for any autistic adults in Leeds who need advice on finding the right job.
Our monthly employment peer support group is on as well, from 5:30pm-7pm. It’s a forum for anyone who has grievances in finding and keeping work.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be in for the whole session, able to offer advice on areas such as housing and benefits. Meanwhile, our staff and volunteers can speak to you and signpost to any relevant services.
Friday Autism Hub – Friday 26th May – 4pm-7pm
At our fortnightly session for booked appointments, we have a few things on offer. The first is employment advice, which is available from 4pm to 7pm. You need to book an appointment with us to receive that.
Ian from the Chapeltown CAB is in for the whole session as well, but as with employment advice, you must book an appointment to see him.
Finally, our monthly LGBTQIA* support group is on from 5:30pm to 7pm. It’s for LGBTQIA* autistic adults in the Leeds area and we talk about topics including the scene, coming out, dating and relationships.
If you want to come to the Friday Autism Hub, please book an appointment, which you can do by contacting us.
