Become a volunteer mentor
We are looking for people to become volunteer mentors to autistic adults in Leeds. Mentors are there to help autistic people overcome obstacles and achieve life goals through meeting once a week or fortnight.
Find out more about what mentoring involves on our Mentoring page.
Reference groups for Leeds Autism Strategy
We host the reference group for autistic adults for Leeds’ Autism Strategy. At the time of writing, it meets every three months online on Microsoft Teams. It feeds into the Leeds Adults Autism Partnership Board, which helps to decide what autism services in the city should do.
We’re also involved with the reference group for carers of autistic adults as well. They meet once every three months at the Leeds Civic Hall.
If you’re interested in attending either reference group, visit the Reference groups page of our website to find out more.
If you don’t want to come to a group but would like to be on the mailing list so that you can find out what is happening and give your ideas by email, then send an email to Phil Chan, Leeds City Council’s Neurodiversity Commissioning Programme Leader.
Coproduction Group
On the fourth Thursday of every month, we run an online Coproduction Group. The group helps us to coproduce resources made by Leeds Autism AIM and other services for autistic adults.
It takes place on Zoom from 5:30pm to 7pm and is for autistic adults living in the Leeds area. Click on the button below to read more about what the group does.
