Below are some quick answers to common queries, but please don’t hesitate to get in contact if you need more information. Even if we are not the right service for you, we will do our best to give you information about other services that might be available to you.

Unfortunately, we can’t provide Advocates at present. If you require advocacy support, The Advonet Group offer a number of advocacy services which you can find out more about here.

Leeds Autism AIM are, however, happy to support you self-advocate by providing information and resources to support you communicate with services.

We are always happy to discuss what support it available in Leeds. However, due to how busy our service is, it can take up to 10 working days to get back to you. Because of this, we would recommend first having a look at our list of information directories in Leeds here if you need a quick answer.

Yes, you are welcome to get in contact to ask questions. We only need you to fill in a referral if you are accessing our one-to-one or group support.

We try to get back to everyone within 10 working days.

The best thing to do is to email [email protected] with the date and time of your appointment and if you would like to reschedule.

We would need to speak to the client directly to get their permission before we can speak to you about their circumstances.

We are happy to discuss what our service offers with you, but we wouldn’t be able to talk about their specific circumstances without their permission.

As a parent or carer, we understand your desire to discuss your child’s needs with us. However, to respect their autonomy, we will need their consent before discussing any specific details about their current situation.

We’re more than happy to share information about the services we offer in Leeds, but we kindly ask that you refrain from sharing their personal history without their permission.
