Leeds Autism AIM’s monthly online Peer Support Group will be moving to a new date from July. As part of the move, the group will also have new co-facilitators.
The group will be held on the third Monday of each month on Zoom from 6pm to 7pm, starting on Monday 21st July. The reasons we are moving the date include:
- Asking people who’ve attended any of our peer-led groups about when they would like the group to be held
- Spacing our groups out so they are not as bunched together
- The availability of our new facilitators
Who’s taking over the group?
Luke, our Information Officer, will be making way for Georgia and Nelly. Georgia is the Deputy Manager of both the Autism AIM – Mental Health Equity Project and Bradford and Craven Autism AIM. Nelly is a Peer Development Worker for the Mental Health Equity Project and Bradford and Craven Autism AIM.
Both Georgia and Nelly co-facilitate the online Mental Health Peer Support Group for Bradford and Craven Autism AIM. Georgia also facilitates the in-person Mental Health Peer Support Group for Leeds. Nelly will be joining Georgia for the online Mental Health Peer Support Group for Leeds this month.
Luke will still be part of the Autism AIM team but will focus more on ensuring we have up-to-date information and resources, including our website. All other groups we run, including our monthly Women-Aligned Group, will be unaffected by this change.
