The schedule for Autism AIM’s 10th anniversary celebration event has been confirmed. It will include speeches from people involved in setting up the service and helping it grow. We also have some guest speakers lined up from organisations AIM work in partnership with.
On the day, there will also be a quiet room open for anyone who needs to use it, as well as another room for networking. Examples of some of AIM’s work will be on display, including their self-advocacy resources and guides.
The event is on Wednesday 2nd April, open from 4pm to 7pm. It is taking place on World Autism Acceptance Day!
Networking and activities
There will be time on the day for activities, including a mural where you can colour parts in and make your own additions. There will also be an opportunity to give live feedback about AIM, which will be on display during parts of the event.
There is time for networking too, where you can meet some of the AIM team and people from partner organisations. The quiet room is open throughout the event, while there will also be some light food and drinks available.
