In the run-up to Christmas, there are a handful of accessible social events and groups taking place across Leeds. Many of them are ked or co-led by autistic adults. In this guide, we are listing them all, including information on how to join.

Leeds Autism AIM – Drop-in Autism Hub

  • Our final drop-in Hub session before Christmas
  • Tuesday 19th December, 4pm-7pm
  • Lovell Park Hub, Wintoun Street, Leeds LS7 1DA – directions are available on our Lovell Autism Hub page
  • This is for autistic adults in Leeds aged 18 and over who get little or no funded support
  • Free to attend – food is provided

  • Our annual festive autistic-led social on Zoom

Out Spoken – Winter Wellbeing Session

  • CHANGE and Yorkshire MESMAC’s project for LGBTQI+ adults in Yorkshire who are autistic and/or have a learning disability are running an extra group around being well in winter

Party People Project at Wharf Chambers

  • The Party People Project are running a festive disco, co-led by and run for adults who are neurodivergent and/or have a learning disability

Christmas Day at The Flamboyance

  • The Flamboyance, an LGBTQI+-friendly café/bar, is hosting a free drinks and nibbles event for people who are alone on Christmas Day
  • Monday 25th December (Christmas Day), 12:30pm-2:30pm

  • For anyone who is alone on Christmas Day
