To mark this year’s Autistic Pride Day (Friday 18th June), Leeds Autism AIM will be running a Zoom social. It will be run by autistic staff members and is open to autistic adults in the Leeds area.
At the social, you can be yourself and meet other autistic people, celebrating a day that was set up by the autistic community. Autistic Pride Day was first celebrated back in 2005 and in and around the event each year, autistic pride picnics are held.
When is the social?
It takes place on Friday 18th June from 6pm-7pm on Zoom. It is free to attend and will be facilitated by autistic members of staff.
If you would like to join in, please email us at [email protected]. Then, we will send you the Zoom details as soon as we can, as well as on the day before the social takes place.
Please note that this event is only open to autistic adults (aged 18 and over) who live in the Leeds City Council area.
