There has been a late change to our monthly timetable, but the opening times for both our Hub sessions this week remain the same! Here’s what we have planned at our Hubs next week:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 8th May – 3:30-7pm
First at Lovell, the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS) team will be in from 3pm to 5pm for a consultation session. This is for anyone who wants to understand what an autism diagnosis entails.
We can produce personalised resources for you throughout the session. These include autism alert cards, employment profiles and conversation flashcards.
Carers Leeds have their monthly Carers Group on from 5pm to 6:30pm. This group is for carers, parents or partners of autistic adults living in the Leeds area.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be in for the whole session. He is there to give useful information about topics including benefits and money.
Our staff team will be around to give information/signposting support, offer limited advocacy support and, in some cases, peer support.
Friday Autism Hub – Friday 11th May – 4-7pm
The fortnightly Friday session for booked appointments is pretty much fully-booked. We do have a few slots available for our next Friday session on the 25th, however. There, we have employment advice and can offer one-to-one peer support.
If you would like an appointment for the 25th, please send an email to us at [email protected].
