Our fortnightly session on Fridays is back, whilst we welcome a guest speaker who talks about the often tricky subject of energy bills at our Tuesday drop-in. Here’s what we have in store at the Lovell Autism Hub in early November:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 7th November – 3:30pm-7pm
First on at Lovell, our Tabletop Gaming Group runs from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, with a break for refreshments somewhere in the middle.
Next, Ronnie from Voluntary Action Leeds is in from 4pm to 6pm to offer advice on getting into volunteering. After that, she will be around at the same time on the first Tuesday of every month.
A guest speaker from The Green Doctor, a free local service that gives people advice on how to save money on energy costs, will be in from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Afterwards, they will be in to answer any questions you may have about what they do and how they can help.
Our informal cooking session is on from 4pm. Whatever the group makes will then be served as dinner, sold in portions for a reasonable price.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be around for the whole session. He can give information with areas like benefits and personal finance.
As always, our staff and volunteers will be around to offer advocacy support, information and signposting.
Friday Autism Hub – Friday 10th November – 4pm-7pm
Our Friday session for booked appointments is back after a break! At this session, we can offer booked appointment slots for advocacy support, information and signposting.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in from 4pm to 6pm and can take an appointment to give info on benefits, money, housing or any other complex topics.
If you would like to come to this session, you need to book an appointment with us. You can do so by contacting us.
