Lovell Autism Hub

Our weekly drop-in for autistic adults in Leeds is back next week and we have a handful of things on to pique your interest. Here’s what we have happening at the Lovell Autism Hub:

Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 24th October – 3:30pm-7pm

First up at Lovell, we are able to do personalised resources for you throughout the session. These include autism alert cards, hospital passports and conversation flash cards. If you’re interested in any of these, please look for Luke and he’ll help you out.

Next up, our informal cooking session will be on at around 4pm. Anyone can join in, plus at the end, we’ll be serving up whatever has been cooked for dinner. If you want something to eat, we usually sell the meal at around £2.50 per portion.

Our employment peer support group is on from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. It’s a forum for anyone who wants to talk about issues in finding work and keeping work. Whatever is said there will be held in the strictest confidence.

Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in for the whole session. He can give useful information on a variety of topics, including housing, benefits and money.

As per usual, our staff and volunteers will be in to give advocacy support, information and signposting services, and peer support. Lesley, our Hub Facilitator, will be on leave that day.
