Autumn has arrived and with that, so has another of our weekly drop-in sessions for autistic adults living in the Leeds area! Here is what we have coming up at next week’s Lovell Autism Hub:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 5th September – 3:30pm-7pm
First up at Lovell this coming week, our Tabletop Gaming Group returns. It’s on from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Please note that the group is fully-booked.
Our informal cooking session is on from 4pm. Anyone can join in and whatever food is being made will be served up and sold for a reasonable price, if you’re feeling peckish.
We are also able to produce personalised resources such as autism alert cards and hospital passports throughout the session. If you’re interested, just ask for Luke and he’ll be there to help you out.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in for the whole session. He can offer advice on issues such as benefits e.g. PIP or ESA, housing and personal finance. If you want to come and see him, it’s advisable to book an appointment – you can do so by contacting us.
As per usual, our staff and volunteers will be around to offer advocacy support, information, signposting and peer support, as and when you might want it.
