The 2017 Leeds Hidden Talents Employment Fair is on in just two weeks’ time. The fair is for autistic jobseekers living in the Leeds City Council area and is free to attend.

At the event, there are a handful of stalls showing what job opportunities are out there, as well as what support is on offer for autistic people looking to get into and keep work. The confirmed stalls include:

  • KPMG
  • Carillion
  • Emovis
  • Voluntary Action Leeds
  • We Care Academy
  • Prince’s Trust
  • National Careers Service

More stallholders will be confirmed in the coming days, with a final list published before the event itself takes place.

Workshops and talks

The event will feature more than just stalls. From 1pm, there are a series of talks aimed at employers, while there are a couple of workshops as well:

  • One on CV building, delivered by the National Careers Service
  • One on reasonable adjustments for autistic workers, delivered by Aspiedent

Venue, time and place

This year’s event will be held on Monday 10th July from 2pm to 5pm for autistic jobseekers. It will take place at the St George’s Centre, Great George Street, Leeds LS1 3DL.
