This week marks the start of our new Friday Autism Hub session, which starts on this coming Friday and runs every two weeks. As for our weekly Tuesday drop-in, it’s business as usual! Here’s what you can expect to find at both of our autism hubs this week:
Lovell Autism Hub: Tuesday 25th April, 3:30pm-7pm
At this week’s Lovell Autism Hub, Aspiedent’s fortnightly employability drop-in is back. It’s on from 4pm to 6pm and is there for autistic adults in Leeds who want to find the right job.
From 5:30pm to 7pm, we have our monthly support group for LGBTQIA* autistic adults. This session is for any LGBTQIA* autistic people who live in Leeds and is a forum to talk about whatever is on your mind.
Aside from that, we have all the usual advice, information and signposting available from our staff and volunteers. After a week away, Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be back for the entire session.
Friday Autism Hub: Friday 28th April, 4pm to 7pm
The first of our new, fortnightly hub sessions is for booked appointments and groups. For the entire session, we have employment advice and the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau in.
We also have a drop-in for carers of autistic adults on. That’s on from 5:30pm to 7pm and is being led by Carers Leeds.
To book an appointment for the session, please get in touch with us.
