The Autism Reference Group, a forum for autistic adults in Leeds to share their thoughts on what local services should do for them, is meeting online next month.

It plays an important role in shaping and influencing autism‑related services in Leeds. The views, experiences and priorities shared in this group help to inform discussions at the Leeds Adult Autism Partnership Board, which brings together representatives from the council, health, social care and other organisations who are able to influence change.

The meeting will be an opportunity to:

  • Share views, experiences and questions you’d like the group to discuss
  • Discuss key issues you feel are important for autistic adults in Leeds
  • Identify items the group would like to take forward for wider discussion at the Leeds Autism Partnership Board

When is the meeting?

It is on Tuesday 10th March from 4:30pm to 6pm, taking place on Microsoft Teams. The Group is free to join, but you must be an autistic adult (aged 18 and over) and live in the Leeds City Council area to take part.

For any questions about the group or a link to join the meeting, please email Phil Chan, Neurodiversity Commissioning Programme Leader for Leeds City Council at [email protected].
