Our first Hub session of August has something for any autistic adults who would like a few pointers on employment. Here are more details of that and what else we have on this coming week:
Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 7th August – 3:30-7pm
First, we have the DWP’s Employment Advice session from 3:30-5:30pm. This is for autistic adults in Leeds who would like some one-to-one advice on finding a job, keeping a job, preparing a CV, preparing for interviews or applying for roles. To book a slot with them, please contact us.
We can produce personalised resources at the Hub from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. These can include autism alert cards, hospital passports, GP profiles and employment profiles.
Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be in the Hub from 3:45pm to 7pm. He can give you information on a handful of subjects, including benefits and money.
Finally, our staff and volunteers are around to give limited advocacy support, as well as peer support, information and signposting.
Getting to the Hub
If you’ve never been to our drop-in venue before, you will find directions and a list of bus services that stop nearby on our Lovell Autism Hub page.
