At this time of year, there are a handful of autistic-friendly events and groups taking place in Leeds. Some of them are from us, whilst others have provisions to make them more accessible to autistic adults.
In this guide, we list some events and groups that might be of interest.
Peer Support Group
Our monthly online peer support group meets on Monday 15th December from 6pm-7pm on Zoom. It is facilitated by and run for autistic adults in Leeds who get little or no funded support.
The group is free to join. If you would like to join and haven’t made a referral to Leeds Autism AIM before, please fill in our referral form and we will send on the details to you before the group begins. If you want to join but have already made a referral to us, we will send the details for joining the Friday before the group starts.
Online Mental Health Peer Support Group
On Thursday 18th December from 6pm-7pm, we are running our regular online monthly mental-health focused Peer Support Group. It is for autistic adults living in Leeds who get little or no funded support, taking place on Zoom.
This month, the group is discussing sensory needs and mental health. It is free to join – if you have not made a referral to us before and want to take part, please complete our referral form. If you have already referred to us before and want to join, please email [email protected] and we will send the details to you.
Rainbow Junktion’s Christmas Dinner
On Christmas Day from 12 Noon-3pm at All Hallows Church in Burley, Rainbow Junktion are running a free community Christmas Dinner.

Relaxed performance of A Christmas Carol
