We’re approaching the end of January, but our Hub sessions are still going! Here is what we have available at our drop-in session on Tuesday and our quiet session for booked appointments only on Friday:

Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 30th January – 3:30-7pm

We are able to work on personalised resources until 5:30pm. These include our autism alert cards, GP profiles, hospital passports and directions to anywhere you need to visit for the first time.

Cafe Autistique, our monthly discussion group, is back after a month away. It’s on from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. This time, they will be talking about self-improvement and how to achieve goals, an expansion on the previous topic of life hacks.

Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will be in for the whole session. He can give useful information on areas like benefits and money. If you want to see him, you will need to get in touch to book an appointment.

Our staff will be around to provide limited advocacy support, information and signposting services.

Friday Autism Hub – Friday 2nd February – 4-7pm

This session is for booked appointments only, where we can give one-to-one support. Here, we can offer:

  • Limited advocacy support
  • Information and signposting
  • An appointment with Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau
  • Employment advice

For all of the above, you need to get in touch with us in order to book an appointment. You can do so by contacting us and saying what you would like to come to the Hub for.
