Autism Hour - woman shushing

Next week sees the National Autistic Society (NAS) launch this year’s Autism Hour campaign. The campaign will see a number of businesses and organisations pledge to have an hour to make their shops and offices quieter and less overloading than usual.

The NAS’ campaign has had a number of major businesses and organisations sign up. Autism Hours will be held throughout next week, starting on Monday 2nd October and finishing on Sunday 8th October.

We’re taking part

Leeds Autism AIM will be taking part in Autism Hour. As part of that, we will pledge to dim the lights at the Lovell Park Hub throughout the session. We also plan to keep the cafe area as quiet as possible. On top of that, we will have as few posters up on the walls as possible.
