Lovell Autism Hub

The final two hub sessions have a few things to offer by way of advocacy support, peer support and information. Here’s what to expect at Lovell Park next week:

Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 29th August – 3:30pm-7pm

At Lovell this week, we have our monthly Employment Peer Support Group from 5:30pm-7pm. This is for any autistic people who want to talk about any issues in finding or keeping work in an autistic-led, supportive environment. Everything said in this group will be kept confidential.

We also have our informal cooking group on from 4pm. Anyone is welcome to join in, while whatever is being made by the group will be served up as dinner.

As always, we will be offering advocacy support, information and signposting. Please ask for one of our staff or volunteers – Lesley, Luke, Paul or Anne – if you need anything.

Please note that Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau will not be in, as it’s the day after a bank holiday. He will be back on Tuesday 5th September.

Friday Autism Hub – Friday 1st September – 4pm-7pm

Our fortnightly Friday session for booked appointments is back. Here, we can offer advocacy support, information and signposting on a one-to-one basis. We aren’t, however, able to produce personalised resources with you on that day.

If you want to come to the session, you will need to book an appointment with us. You can do so by contacting us.
