Lovell and Vale

This coming week sees the last ever Vale Autism Hub session take place. For that and our drop-in service at Lovell Park, we do have a few things going on. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Lovell Autism Hub – Tuesday 28th March – 1.30pm-7pm

In the last Lovell Autism Hub session of the month before new hours come in, employment is the main theme this Tuesday.

From 2pm to 4pm, the DWP will be in to offer bespoke employment advice. They can give you handy tips on finding a job, staying in work or going into volunteering. To book an appointment, please send us an email here.

Following on from that, Aspiedent will be back with their employability drop-in. It’s from 4pm to 6pm and anyone who’s autistic in Leeds can attend, without having to book an appointment.

Finally, there’s the monthly employment peer support group from 5.30pm to 6.45pm. It’s a forum for anyone who has any work-based gripes to get whatever they like off their chests.

Cooking is on from 3pm, whilst we have Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau in for the entire session to offer advice on all kinds of issues such as housing, finance and benefits.

Vale Autism Hub – Thursday 30th March – 2pm-7pm

The last ever session at Vale Circles does have a couple of things on for anyone seeking advocacy support, information or advice.

Ian from the Chapeltown Citizens Advice Bureau is in from 2pm to 6pm and can advise on issues such as benefits, housing, employment and personal finance. If you want to come and see him, just ask on the day.

We also have information and signposting services from our staff and volunteers. They’re in for the whole session if you need them.
