Talks at Lovell - Microphone

Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) are coming to the Lovell Autism Hub later this month to deliver a talk about volunteering. Their presentation will go into many details about what it means to be a volunteer and how you can get into it.

Another topic of discussion is how volunteering can lead to paid work. Just two days before Advonet’s Volunteer Open Evening, this talk is ideal for anyone who would like to find out more about giving up their time for a good cause or to learn new skills.

The time and place

VAL’s talk will be followed by a question and answer session. The talk is open to autistic adults in Leeds who want to know more about becoming a volunteer. In the meantime, you can find out more about how to get involved with us.

The talk takes place on Tuesday 21st March at 4pm, finishing at around 5.30pm. It will be held at the Lovell Autism Hub. Directions to the venue are on the Lovell Autism Hub page.

If you would like more information on the talk, please send us an email at [email protected]. You can find out all about VAL on their website.
